We have been enjoying a collaboration with Starbucks for over 10 years now, having constructed over 20 new stores throughout Greece, while in 2014 our partnership was expanded to include projects in Cyprus.

Our collaboration began in 2008 with the Kifisia store, and we have subsequently been assigned the construction of GAP stores in Golden Hall, Ermou Street and Kyriazi Street in Kifisia.

Our long collaboration with M&S has involved over 20 store constructions and renovations in Greece, and our partnership has recently also extended to Marks & Spencer stores in Romania.

Our company has been providing the Baklis Group of companies with technical consulting and construction services from the beginning of our collaboration in 2000.

Since 2017, we have completed renovation works of approximately 170 branches of the Sklavenitis supermarket group (formerly Marinopoulos chain locations) throughout Greece and Cyprus.

Full hotel renovation: Rooms (100), communal areas (corridors, central staircase, support areas), restaurant, bar, gym, conference halls, facades.

Project Description:

The project involved the renovation and modernisation of an existing four-storey building, together with the redesign of the surrounding landscape, with the aim of upgrading to a five star hotel category.

Main Works:

• Demolition works with complete exposure of the structural frame
• Structural reinforcements of the load-bearing structure and addition of balconies to the existing building
• Earthworks (excavations, backfilling, landscaping of surrounding area)
• New concrete structures (new common & service areas, underground plant rooms, swimming pools, landscape retaining walls)
• Steel structures (construction of attic and roof (750 m²), addition of composite balconies, architectural façade configurations)
• Tile roof construction (750 m²)
• Renovation of 76 rooms & hotel public spaces
• Finishing works for public spaces, rooms and outdoor areas
• Installation of shading systems (retractable pergolas, shutters and shade awnings)
• Landscaping
• Installation of M/E networks and equipment for building and surrounding area
• Construction of underground biological treatment plant
• Construction and equipment installation for bar spaces, open kitchen and food prep kitchens

We have an ongoing relationship with ION which began in 1985. Ballian Techniki implemented HACCP standards on ION S.A. building works as early as the late 1980’s.
