As part of our ongoing collaboration with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, in December 2016 we were assigned construction and configuration works for all the food service areas at the SNFCC, specifically the main restaurant, the Agora Cafe, the Gift Shop, the Canal Cafe and the Park Kiosk. In addition, we were assigned all M&E and other infrastructure and support works for the above areas.
The construction of the SNFCC Visitors’ Centre was completed by our Company within eight weeks of its assignment. The load bearing construction of the building is structural steel. The ground floor area of 225m2 is elevated and has been modelled as a single multi-purpose space for exhibitions, activities, screenings, lectures etc.
Our collaboration with the SNFCC began with our company undertaking infrastructure work for the cultural center, including fencing of the property, earthworks, LEED specified Erosion and Sedimentation Control, archaeological surveys and other worksite infrastructure required for the main project.
